Correntes inertes, 2025
“The exhibition space at Ateliê 31, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, opens this Thursday, September 12th, with the exhibition “Correntes Inertes” by the artist Adriana Nataloni.
The exhibition brings together paintings, photographs, drawings, and installations that utilize inorganic materials, many of them discarded by the artist herself. The work proposes a reflection on the permanence of these residues on the planet and the silent contamination that affects rivers, seas, and oceans.
The works explore from the micro to the macro, revealing the critical human presence in the liquid territories of the Earth.”

Consumíveis, 2024
It challenges the paradigms of contemporary materiality. In a world flooded with disposables, Nataloni proposes an insurgent dialogue with the logic of mass production, creating new forms and meanings from waste and collected objects. Her work subverts the industrial system by connecting seemingly purposeless parts, creating a new order and aesthetic of rebellion.
According to critic Marco Cavalcanti, Nataloni's work rejects the aesthetic premises of industrial uniformity. She appropriates plastic materials and other waste, transforming chaos into an aesthetic and philosophical message that questions the value of constructed matter and its inadequacy in the contemporary world. “Adriana reveals to us the instability of uncertainty as a goal in material existence. It is a message in reverse, linked to the Dadaist heritage and the insurgent spirit of the artists of Black Mountain College,” points out Cavalcanti.
While the industry values serialization and predictability as promises of happiness in consumption, Nataloni uses the same materials for the opposite: unique pieces, impossible to reproduce, that reveal new meanings and purposes for what was once considered disposable. His work does not seek definitive answers to the conflicts generated by consumerism, but rather organizes chaos to present a "poetics of a new state of matter".

"The artist works with diverse materials and techniques, and one of the issues she confronts is the sculptural power of the accumulation of globalized society.
Following the legacy of conceptualism, where there is no hierarchy in the use of materials, Adriana manipulates papers, plastics, and all kinds of inorganic materials that seemingly "pollute" our world, without using them in a recycling context."

Abraço Coletivo, 2025
Abraço Coletivo is a project that aims to organize exhibitions in independent spaces, in order to affirm the potential of working with art in a free and self-managed way. Based on the premise of the strength of collectivity as a mobilizing action for transformations, the project starts from the policy that all artists are welcome! In other words, it is an exhibition in which the curatorship does not start from specific research, judgments, themes and others, but rather from the beauty that exists in the ability to organize ourselves for a common interest, in this case, art.
Its first edition took place in 2017 at Espaço SARACURA (2016-2019) in Rio de Janeiro, with the participation of more than one hundred artists. In 2019, the project was hosted by Ateliê 397 in São Paulo and had the participation of almost three hundred artists. Now, in its third edition, it will take place between April 26 and May 3 at Canteiro, in São Paulo.

Salve Jorge, 2025
The opening of the 12th edition of Salve São Jorge 23 will take place on April 12, 2025, at the Red Gate of the Bhering Factory, as part of the Bhering Internal Circuit — a traditional art and culture route in the Santo Cristo neighborhood, in the port area of Rio de Janeiro.
The event proposes a collective occupation in celebration of São Jorge and extends throughout the month of April, the month in which the saint is celebrated. In this edition, more than 100 invited artists participate with works presented in wooden boxes, used as individual exhibition supports. The proposal invites each artist to create in this format, promoting a diverse and integrated occupation of the collective space.
Conceived by visual artist Raimundo Rodriguez, Salve São Jorge 23 has occupied, throughout its eleven years of existence, spaces such as the Technical Center of the Municipal Theater, the Laurinda Santos Lobo Municipal Cultural Center, the Imaginário Space and the headquarters of Caza Arte Contemporânea itself, in Lapa — always bringing together a diversity of artists and proposals.
The project is developed through the traveling gallery Caza Arte Contemporânea, which acts as an organizer and curator of artistic activities in different areas of the city. Portão Vermelho, a specific space within Bhering where the event is concentrated, features the joint work of the Canteiro de Alfaces collective, the artist Lina Zaldo, and Caza Arte Contemporânea itself.

Jardim de verão, 2025
The exhibition brings together works that explore the universe of botany, the tropics, heat, and libido, curated by Bruno Castaing and Marcelo Rezende. The paintings, sculptures, photographs, and installations promise to transform the exhibition space into a vibrant garden, where leaves, flowers, fruits, and bodies intertwine in a voluptuous way.

Máscaras, 2024
The clay mask, applied to the face as an ephemeral material, carries within its essence the transience of its existence. When molded onto the skin, it assumes unique shapes and textures, creating a dialogue between the human and the organic. Its ephemerality reinforces the idea of transformation.

Giro Abissal, 2024
This deals with the decolonial historical ceiling as a visual bulwark for artists who, in their time, are experiencing the disintegration of the Eurocentric world, a pressing of the imaginary repertoire we once inhabited, mirroring our artworks. Even steeped in European ontology and epistemology, and understanding that Contemporary Art remains close to the theoretical and visual developments of Europe and the United States of America, we have seen the decolonial paradigm erupt with full force in the Brazilian art circuit in these first decades of the 21st century. This means that the modus operandi of the Global North as a universal aesthetic, ethical, and
political model of a society, it is now being questioned, including in the diametrically opposed dynamics of the Global South, which did not go unnoticed by authors who previously wrote about the asymmetrical relationship between developed countries and the subaltern Latin America, or as the sociologist Alain Touraine stated in his television analysis: "Latin America does not exist." The shift that occurred would reach the historical sedimentation of social roles, the economic and territorial issues that maintain the abysmal asymmetry between the peoples of the Global North and South, operating directly in the colonized relations preserved in the coloniality of power, knowledge, and being.

Feira de Arte Aberta, 2024
The Feira de Arte Aberta was born with a clear purpose: to connect independent artists with the public – from art lovers and experienced collectors to those seeking their first acquisition. With works by more than 50 artists, a vibrant and energetic movement begins. "Admire and acquire" is our motto, and on the very first day of the inaugural edition, this experience came to life.

A arte que nos une, 2024
"Luis Felipe Noé, Oscar Smoje, Xul Solar, Marta Minujín, and Antonio Berni are just a few of the renowned Argentine artists whom we Brazilians deeply admire. This artistic brotherhood between our countries resembles a family dynamic: love, competition, minor squabbles, but above all, much affection and mutual respect."

The exhibition "Surperfícies se aproximam" is the result of a research group in Contemporary Art and features three artists: Adriana Nataloni, Claudia Malaguti, and Valeria Campos. Territórios insustentáveis, 2022
The group exhibition at the Antonio Berni Gallery features twenty-seven artists from different regions of the country and the world, occupying various "territorialities" of contemporary art: painting, sculpture, installation, object, video, and intervention. The works converge on discussions within the art circuit: space from a geographical perspective, time in the political field of social relations, and corporealities, not only in new, non-standardized bodies, but also within new dominant paradigms.
